Getting farçi at a picnic...


Here is something to try when you have a picnic again, easy to make, very delicious, and easy to eat, isnt that the best part of it? Something that is easy to eat? Makes it quicker to enjoy the food. This meal is also filling but doesn't make yo feel like having a nap afterwards, even though naps are fun.

Ostrich and Quinoa Meatballs:

500g Ostrich mince 125ml Quinoa cooked Red Onion 30g Red curry paste Lemon Zest & Ginger (to your liking) 1x Chilli & 3x Garlic cloves Lemon juice Spring onion Wholegrain Mustard Honey

Chop everything together, except the mince, then mix everything in a big bowl. Roll big patties/frikadelle. Place in oven at 180°C for 15min (time is effected by the thickness of the patties/frikadelle).

Potato Chips in Duck Fat:

Potatoes (your choice, size and amount) Salt & Herb Black Pepper Duck Fat

Cut potatoes, mix all ingredients together and place in oven. Roast until brown and soft inside.
